Privacy Policy

What we collect

• A player name you choose. It can be anything; it doesn't need to be your real name, and we'd gently suggest it not be.
• An anonymous account ID. When you first play, the game creates a random identifier so your scores can appear on the leaderboard. There is no sign-up: we never ask for or store your email address, phone number, real name, or password.
• Gameplay results. Your daily scores, answer records, and streak, used to run the weekly leaderboard and show your own history.

What we don't collect

Everything else. No location, no contacts, no photos, no advertising identifiers, no analytics profiles, no tracking across other apps or websites. WHAMI contains no ads and no third-party trackers.

Where data lives

Game data is stored with our backend provider, Supabase, in a database in the United States, and locally on your device. Your player name and weekly score are visible to other players on the leaderboard; nothing else is visible to anyone.

Deleting your data

Open the gear menu on the home screen and choose Delete Account & Data. This permanently removes your account, scores, and streak from our servers and your device, immediately. There is no retention period. Deleted means deleted.

Children

WHAMI is a general-audience trivia game and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
