WHAMI is a daily trivia game for iPhone and iPad. Every day at 6am ET, ten new four-choice questions drop. You get ten seconds per question, and the faster you answer the more points you score. If something isn't working, or you have a question, here is how to get help.

Email brendancoen@gmail.com and we will reply within two business days. It helps if you include your player name, your device model, your iOS version, and the date the problem happened.

Common questions

  • How do I play? Ten questions arrive each day at 6am ET, the same ten for everyone. Answer each one within ten seconds. Answering quickly is worth more, later questions are worth more than earlier ones, and a wrong or timed-out answer is worth nothing.
  • Do I need an account? No. There is no sign-up, no email, and no password. Pick a player name and play. The game creates an anonymous ID so your scores can appear on the leaderboard.
  • When does the leaderboard reset? The weekly leaderboard resets every Sunday at 6am ET, when the new week of play begins.
  • My score, streak, or leaderboard position looks wrong. Close the app fully and reopen it so it can sync with the server. If it still looks wrong, email us with your player name and the date.
  • Questions or the leaderboard will not load. WHAMI needs an internet connection. Check your connection and reopen the app. If the problem continues, let us know.
  • I think a question or answer is wrong. Please email us the question and the date it appeared and we will review and correct it.

Deleting your account and data

Open the gear menu on the home screen and choose Delete Account & Data. This permanently removes your account, scores, and streak from our servers and your device, immediately.

Requirements

WHAMI runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later and needs an internet connection to load each day's questions and the leaderboard.
